I just cannot fathom where the year went! Its June and time to say our good-byes in this more than awesome Kindergarten class. The Dazzling Dinosaurs brought with them good cheer, humour, love and endless tight hugs, into our lives every morning. It was my true privilege to be a part of their journey this year and as always, I continue to be amazed at the exponential growth these children enjoy year after year!
For those of you who are moving to other parts of the world, we wish you all the best with your new adventures. For all the lovely friends, still in Manila, I look forward o catching up with you in August.
Thanks for coming to our year-end bash…..
The Dazzling Dinosaurs went for a visit to Grade One on Thursday. We had already written down some very important questions that we wanted to ask the grade one teachers. We had an hour to explore the class and have a chat with the teacher.
We were so excited to have the author of some of our favorite stories visit us in class this week. Mr. Robert Magnuson is a Filipino author who writes children’s books in English and Tagalog. It was great the way he shared his journey of becoming an author with the students. He encouraged them with their illustrations and assured them that everyone can enjoy drawing and writing stories. Later we cut out the characters from some of his stories and made up our own books. Mr. Magnuson visited us one more time at the end of the day so we could share our work with him.
